Last night we were up from 1-3ish. The nightmare started when JI peed in his bed.  After changing PJs and sheets he was wide awake.  What motivation does a preschooler have to go back to bed?  None.  I'm not sure of all the events or details that transpired in 2 hrs. but I do know that I was tired.  I was cranky.  All I wanted was sleep.  All I could think about was how tired I would be in the morning.  Wanting said sleep I donned my sleep ...

Last year, I was involved with a local organization (that's trying to go national) called Homemakers by Choice (HBC).Their three fold purpose:To grow in one's walk with God through Bible Study, prayer, fellowship and worship To be a support and encouragement to other moms raising children in today's society. I love the public library.  I mean I really love the library.  We go at least once a week and sometimes thrice.Last week, I discovered a BBC travelogue hosted by Michael Palin (from Monte Python).  I'll spare the details but if you're interested, check amazon - or your library!  I watched 4 hours of Sahara and 6 hrs of Himalaya - not all at once.  Great footage and very interesting...and it was FREE!...

Raking leaves on our neighbor's patio March 20 Helping Gigo (Bosnian neighbor) Cole's Darth Vader cake: his Momma (pictured) - took over 8 hrs to make it. JI was the smallest kid in attendance; he got to hit the pinata first.
