Ministry Description
![]() Russ: My first exposure to missions was on a CCC summer project to Uganda, Africa in 1981. That summer, we worked alongside vocational missionaries and I developed a keen appreciation for how God could use my professional skills in His service. I have since worked in 22 different countries developing communications technology and information services to help reach people from every tribe, language, and nation with the Gospel. Now, I am using those years of international experience to serve globally from the World Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. We develop Internet technologies to take the Gospel to places people cannot go so that the Word can pass through: - Time and space - Closed doors and closed borders Reaching people when they have questions and before the enemy can stop them from asking. ![]() Jo Anne: While working on a Marketing degree at Texas Christian University I became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. I began to realize that there was more to the Christian life than I had ever understood and friends helped me learn how to have a day-to-day relationship with Christ. Since then my passion has been to help women grow in their Christian faith and live a life that matters. Currently, my ministry focuses on our neighborhood and the children's public school. My friend Rob has captured a great question and answer session with Doris at TruthMedia.com. He asks Doris to explain what an email mentor does and how to become one. Check out Rob's interaction with Doris or go to the Truth Media web site. (TruthMedia.com is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada.)
The Ministry Response Center covers email and instant message contacts from several CCC web sites that give people a chance to ask questions about spiritual matters....

The first week of Feb. '05 I was attending meetings at the Here's Life Inner City ministry in South Central Los Angeles. While there I saw something that brought memories from 1993, when I was trying to brainstorm with some people on ways to do training and discipleship when you couldn't go in person.
The presentation by Darrel Heide, CCC- HLIC and Ron Banks- MAF for Distance Education via the web and/or CD-ROM is the fulfillment of a dream. I had met with Steve Clinton,...
