4:00 PM - Just wanted to let you know that there's nothing new to let you know! Kyle has had no more episodes since last Thursday night, so it's not like he's been hit with multiple events or anything. We're STILL waiting to talk to someone from the cardiology clinic. It's been six days since the trip to the ER. Mom is getting just a little frustrated!...

3:00 PM - We're a little discouraged around here today. Just yesterday I had thought about needing to post an update reporting on how absolutely GREAT Kyle has been doing. It had been over three weeks since his procedure and he had had no SVT episodes and was back fully engaged in life. Then, last night Kyle had two SVT episodes within about 30 minutes of each other, the second one lasting nearly 30 minutes...the longest he's ever had.Following the direction of the cardiologist, we had our first...

8:30 AM - Well, we promised an update after Kyle's visit to the cardiologist on Tuesday, but we don't have much to report. He had an EKG done and we don't have the results from that yet. Not sure when we will. He wasn't checked by a doctor or nurse as we had been told he would. This continues our frustration with clear communication with the staff in the cardiology clinic. But we're assuming that because they weren't interested in actually examining him again...even as much as a "let's list...

Okay, I know I said we probably wouldn't do another update until Kyle went back to the doctor on Tuesday, but...Anyway, we decided since it had been 12 days (and the doctor consistently had told us 10 days) since the procedure to go ahead and let Kyle play in a game today. We told him to just listen to his body and take himself out if he felt he needed to. We told his coach to play him as much as he needed him but just to watch him to.
