Ministry Description
Konnichiwa (Hello!) from Shelley Carl in JAPAN. The Lord confirmed my call to a lifetime of missions by miraculously healing me of rhematoid arthritis at the age of 17. I was living in Japan with my family at the time (1972-1976), as my father served in the U.S. Army. After graduating from high school at Camp Zama, I studied for the ministry at Bethany College of the Assemblies of God in Santa Cruz, California.
While serving as a Missionary Associate in Tokyo from 1980-83, the Lord continued to burden my heart for the lost. I have had the privilege of serving as an AG Missionary since 1986, church planting in one of the LEAST evangelized areas of one of the most DIFFICULT and EXPENSIVE mission fields in the world. My mission is "LEADING JAPANESE TO FOLLOW JESUS" as I serve as interim pastor at Momochi Symphony Church in the city of Fukuoka on the island of Kyushu, Japan. Please stop by my website often and be inspired to pray for revival in Japan! Sunday, July 20 2008 @ 1:18 am
I preached on THE RAPTURE today at Tsukuba International Christian Assembly, just north of Tokyo. The atmosphere was electrifying as the people caught on to the idea of the imminency of the sound of the trumpet! Download the powerpoint hereto brush up on your theology of this soon coming event....

The Fire Bible is known in the States as the Life in the Spirit Bible (formerly the Full Life Study Bible). It is a Pentecostal Study Bible written by the late Don Stamps who was an Assemblies of God missionary.
The Chinese dubbed it the Fire Bible. This Pentecostal study Bible has been translated into over 20 languages and is being used around the world. We are now in the process of begining to...

Five days in Okinawa brought much needed refreshment. On Sunday I preached on the topic of REST in Jesus at Neighborhood Assembly. Many were touched, refreshed by the Holy Spirit.
Three visits to Starbucks brought tasty refreshment. Mmmmmmm. And all of it was covered by a gift card!
Two days of committee meetings were surprisingly refreshing. Our team is in such unity that it is refreshing to be together to accomplish the work of our field.
A day at the aquarium, viewing the awesome water cre...
