Aaron and Minda Schweizer

After meeting at the University of California at San Diego, Aaron and Minda were engaged prior to  their senior. A lot had changed during their time in school, including Aaron becoming a Christian and Minda rededicating her life to Christ. After our junior we both went on separate mission trips, and then helped open up the ministry on our campus as student leaders.

During our time as student leaders, we felt God confirm our call to full time missions, and the day after Aaron's graduation (Minda graduated a year earlier), we got on a plan a went to staff training with Campus Crusade.

Our first year was spent raising our initial support base, and we were soon off to our first assignment at UC Berkeley. After two eventful years at Berkeley, we sensed God leading us to change locations, and we moved to southern California to help establish the new regional office for the Pacific Southwest region of the campus ministry.

Aaron currently serves as the Creative Arts Team leader for our region, and his team focuses on web design, graphic design, and video production to promote our regional events and design new tools to increase our ministry effectiveness. This year he is also serving as the director of our year end missions conference where we expect over 1,000 to participate.

Our family has also grown since we first joined as missionaries with Campus Crusade, and now we are five. Abigail and Elsa are our twin daughters, born in 2000, and Theo (born in 2002) is their younger brother trying to keep up with his sister's and all the activity they create. In our free time we love to explore, go to the pool, spend time at museums and library, take pictures, scrapbook, read, and just have fun with family and friends.
