Bob & Karen Rhoads are the only Deaf staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 13 years.  In September 2007, we transitioned to launch a new ministry called "Deaf Leadership Ministries" with support from Bethany Community Church of Laurel, Maryland.

By the Grace of God, we were assigned to minister to Deaf students at Gallaudet University and guide them to become Christ-centered Laborers.  

We want to lead the students to know their Savior in a personal way and to walk daily with Him.  Then we train them to reach out to their fellow students and to disciple them in Christ Jesus as leaders for tomorrow world.

It is our prayers that those Deaf students will join us as volunteers or as staff and help reach more deaf students across the USA and one day, around the world.  

Bob and Karen make their home in Bowie, Maryland with their 4 precious children:  Grace, 14; Robert, 12; Noah, 9 and Seth, 6.
