Ministry Description
In August of 2005, the Radfords returned to Sénégal, West Africa where they also served from 1994-1999. They have begun a new ministry - the setting up of a Christian school system for Sénégalese children. Will is the National Director of Christian Schools for the Sénégalese Assemblies of God.
Many Sénégalese see education as a stepping stone to certain success in the global community. Through this open door of education, these schools will engage families in this 95% Muslim nation with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Radfords are working with other missionaries and local pastors to develop schools - 2 in the fall of 2006, and more planned for the fall of 2007. These schools will always stress quality, caring education with strong relational interaction with parents and siblings, and will work with local established churches or church planters to lead the families to Christ.
