Below is an overview of my background. Team Leader's Background and Experience: a)6 years as a missionary in Japan (since 2001). b)Previous background: studied Bible and biology at Lipscomb University, then worked 14 years as a science consultant and department manager while volunteering at church (often in international outreach or evangelism). Also, took several missions classes. c)Current Ministry: Lead church planter working in Kagawa Prefecture, Shikoku, Japan. Leading the Ayauta and Aji church plants. d)Additional Roles: Also serve as Shikoku Local Coordinator,Japan Leadership Council member, and International Leadership Council member with Mission to Unreached Peoples. e)Ordination by International Ministerial Fellowship in August 2006. Was sent/commissioned as a missionary by a local nondenominational church in Washington in 2001. f) Mixed denominational heritage (COC, Baptist, etc.). Nondenominational and interdenominational in outlook. g) Christian for 26+years. |
