Ministry Description
How did I get here!?!?!
I made the big move to Ohio in August of 2003 to begin working in ministry with Athletes in Action. The steps that brought me to the point of leaving my family, job and home (in Wisconsin) are basically a whirlwind! In a nutshell, I knew I wanted to serve the Lord full-time, so I began making some phone calls to the strong Christians in my life. Before I knew it, I will filling out my staff application for AIA and here I am today. In retrospect, I can see how God used every season of my life to mold me into the person I need to be for my assignment at AIA. I can see how He ordained my experiences along the way to make me more prepared for my position. What an awesome realization it has been! My role at Athletes in Action is basically that of a Special Event Planner. I help plan ministry outreaches, Father/Son Weekends, executive breakfasts, and hopefully, in the future, retreats. My desire as I begin every day is to share my faith and how my relationship with Jesus has CHANGED me completely. While my opportunities to do so on a one-on-one level are limited, I am confident that my role here at AIA, though sometimes behind the scenes, is just as important as the person who has been called to preach or lead.
