It is now the beginning of week 3 of having Jillian at home. While it seems that a full night of sleep is no where in sight, we are thankful to have her at home at all. The two weeks she was in the NICU after being born were very hard for us and we wouldn't ever choose that. Yet, it was still a good lesson in patience for us and trusting the Lord to provide for us.

(from Rene) We only have 10 weeks left until Baby Griffith arrives! It seems like just yesterday when we were hoping that we'd make it past the 13 week mark and now we are at 30 weeks! Today we went to the doctor and found out that Baby Griffith is 3 lbs, 2 oz. We also found out that Rene still has her fibroids and not only does she have them but she has more and the ones she had have grown a little.
That could serve to complicate the delivery process but it's all in the wait ...

Spring is flying by. I can't believe it is almost May. I think the seasons in Florida make it hard to know what time of year it is. It gets cold here in January for a while, but the rest of the year is either hot or warm. So, it has been warm here since March and is on its way towards hot. So, the summer seems to sneak up on me and Thanksgiving always sneaks up on me. This has been a good year in the office and we have seen some significant progre...

(From Rene) It seems just like yesterday when we found out that we were pregnant! Already it's 13 weeks and it seems amazing that we have made it this far. We've had some concerns along the way because of my age and a few other medical issues but God has been gracious to allow things to go smoothly. So far so good.And even if something happens along the way, we are trusting Him to work things out for His glory and our good. Ultimately, we'd love to see a happy and healthy...
