Hello all, I looked at the date of my last post and was ashamed I had allowed so much time to pass since my lasts one. I apologize, but as many of you may know I was busy courting my bride in preparation for our wedding that occurred this past October. Sarah and I have been in Orlando making preparations for our home as well as for the next 6 to 12 months of fund-raising we will be doing. We are hoping to have all our funds raised well within a year so that we may return to New York City to h...

Hello Friends, Well, I sit here in Orlando for a few days of rest after spending last week in New Orleans doing hurricane relief work in conjunction with Operation Blessing (www.ob.org). Please pray for safety, and opportunities to extend God's Kingdom throug...

Later today I am meeting with three of my students at the Pratt Institute, Scoot, Nick, and Eric. Nick is a film student, and Eric a painter, both are seniors and are really gonna have an influence wherever God takes them. Scott, a sophomore, is a writing major and a real thinker. Pray for my time...and other subsequent times with these great guys. Also, la...

Another shot of the debris. The garage is in the background. The debris had to be divided up in piles of varying types... A wider shot of the debris. Where did all that debris go? Right out front on the curb. Another shot of the front of the house. Notice the garage door is open and it is clear of debris. It didn't look like that several hours beforehand. A picture through the front door when we had the front doorway and room relatively clear. This is essentially what the living room looked like at the beginning. The owners said that the glass cabinet in the back never moved during the entire flood. When we entered the house it was into the living room. Our first big item that we removed from the house was the couch. This was the first house we worked on which hadn't been opened since the time of the hurricane. We were tasked to gut the entire house. Sarah and I, who had just agreed to marry me a few days before (more about that later), just outside the Another shot of students and staff during orientation.
