About Kelly Rasley
My name is Kelly Rasley and I recently graduated from Washington State University and joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ.
I grew up in a Christian home but it wasn’t until I was nineteen I discovered what a relationship with God was supposed to look like. In the midst of my insecurities and misdirected identities the Lord grabbed my heart. Just in time, before I left for college at Washington State University. As I went into college, I was afraid my faith would be shattered. Growth in my relationship with the Lord was at risk due to cultural pressures. Thank God, a few weeks into the school year, I met a woman who introduced me to a group of believers on campus who were part of Campus Crusade for Christ. They talked about Jesus and the Bible as though they were relevant to every day life. Through these students, I saw my need to continue growing in my new relationship with Jesus Christ. As I studied the Bible with my new friends, my life began to change. The Lord put a new desire in my heart to share my faith with other college students. During my junior year the Lord redirected my future and made it clear He wanted me in full-time Christian ministry with Campus Crusade after graduation. After applying to be a full-time staff member, I was accepted and attended New Staff Training this past summer in Fort Collins, Colorado. ![]() I was assigned to our ministry at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Three days a week, I will team up with other staff members to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) at Oregon State University. We will work to win students to faith in Christ. Through a variety of outreach modes we will help believers reach maturity in their faith and train them to reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Then two days a week, I will team up with other staff members to reach the unreached campuses in the state of Oregon. This is the Catalytic part of my ministry. We go to the smaller universities and junior colleges to find key students to help us launch new ministries on their campuses. When God reveals those key students to us, we encourage them and supply them resources to start a ministry on their own campus. Right now, there are 15 Campus Crusade ministries launched in the state of Oregon and still others trying to get started! |
