Ministry Description
Our Background
Sheree and I both came to Christ while we were students. I trusted Christ through teammates and friends while on the wrestling team at Kansas State. These friends were involved with Campus Crusade and helped me grow spiritually. As I began sharing my newfound faith with friends, teammates, and fraternity brothers; I was amazemented that many were open and also trusted Christ. Sheree came to Christ her last year of high school but then got involved with CCC as she started K-State. Upon graduation we both decided that we wanted to continue to see God use us to change students lives so we joined CCC staff. We got married in 1981 and have three boys: Joshua (20), Joel (18) and Aaron (16). Why University Students After 28 years with Campus Crusade, we are still passionately reaching out to university students worldwide because the need and the potential impact for Christ is so great. Here are some reasons why we are investing our lives to make a difference among the 60 million university students worldwide. • Worldwide, one of the most open segments of any culture are college students. They are searching for answers and are willing to seriously consider the relevance of Christ. • University students are the “powerful 1%”. Even though 60 million only represent 1% of the world’s population, they will become the leaders of tomorrow. • University students are the leaders and influencers of tomorrow. It was students protests that ended the war in Vietnam, Chinese students in the Tienamen Square uprising and student who broke down the iron curtain in Eastern Europe. University students are always at the forefront. • Christian university students are more likely to choose a full time Christian vocation because they are at a decision making stage of their lives ![]() Global Campus Ministry For the last 28 years Sheree and I have been helping to reachout to university students worldwide. We began by directing the ministry at the University of Kansas for six years where we saw Bible studies started in 26 different fraternities and sororities with 15 graduates going into fulltime ministry. In 1982, we moved to Japan where we helped open the outreach to Tokyos 800,000 university students. During 11 years we saw movements open in five major cities that had large university centers. 20 Japanese nationals joined staff and were trained to take over leadership. Our Present Job Presently, we are at the world headquarters of Campus Crusade for Christ in Orlando, Florida where we are members of the Global Campus Team. We help to oversee the approximately 3000 university movements worldwide. Our ministry in Korea is our strongest outside the USA. Pictured above is the Korean annual student conference where 13,000 Christians attended for a week of training. My specific responsibilities are to:[list] Teamwork Though we have time, talents, training and experience to give, that is not enough. We need people like you who will partner with us to pray for us and give financially. We would love to have you join our ministry team. Wednesday, September 17 2008 @ 4:52 am

I am on my way home from a week of training our regional and national directors on the Indian sub-continent: India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh & Bhutan. My goal was to help coach them as directors so they are more effective at leading their teams of between 25 and 100 staff. I am exhausted, as I was basically the only trainer so had to do 80% of the teaching for 4 days.
Thank you for your continued prayers for Christians in the state of Orissa. While I was there, the attack on Christians ...

On August 23 a Hindu leader along with 4 of his friends was killed by Communists. As a result of this, now the whole state is on fire. All the Hindu Fanatic Groups are using this as an excuse to attack the churches as well as the believers, claiming that this was done by Christians. The most affected areas are Kandhamal, Phulbani, Bargarh, Rourkela.
In Phulbani, the district headquarters of Kondhamal district, more than 25 houses were attacked, all house hold things/ properties burned in front ...

Many of you have been praying for the 3 dozen or so Christian ministers who were imprisoned for insulting Islam. They have been in an appeals process for some time but some time ago the country's highest court announced that their sentence of 5 years would stand and not be shortened. This was final. On top of this discouraging news, one of the imprisoned men just learned that a robber broke into his family's home while his wife was home alone one evening and killed her in or...
