Jijo Mathew

I was born and brought up in an conventional Christian family in Kerala. God gave me a heart for the mission from my early days and I was an element of a few mission organizations. While I was doing my higher education, I met Campus Crusade for Christ people in my campus. I attended their camps, conferences and many other out reach programs. I was surprised by seeing the outcome of their works and understood that Gods is calling me also to His missions through them. In 1997 August, I joined CCC as a staff. God has blessed me through selecting me also to his vineyard as his servant. I was assigned in some special projects till 1998 June in my own place. I completed the staff training on 1998 March and ministry send me to Calicut, a hub city in the state of Kerala. After three years there, for further strengthening and development, I joined for a Masters program on Biblical studies in Asian Christian Academy in Bangalore. After successful completion of my theological studies, I joined the ministry team in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala state. In 2005 May, I moved to Kottayam where I stay till this moment. In mean time God used me to serve Him in Leadership team of Campus ministry of CCC for three years. Right now I am coordinating the internet ministry, Internet reporting system and serve as technology administrator for South West India Campus Crusade for Christ.

Julie was also brought up as a faithful Christian girl. After her education, she joined a mission school as a teacher where she worked for 6 years in that profession. She also had a passion for ministry and missions. We got married in 2005 May 2. She joined the CCC team with me and serving the Lord through her ministry. God blessed us by giving Andrew to our family on 2006 March 24. We appreciate your prayers for our ministry and family. Thank you for taking time to read our story.

Our Missions

• Give opportunity to all students in our region to hear about the Love of God through Jesus Christ by making ourselves available to them
• Engage in aggressive personal evangelism
• Pour out ourselves to the disciple so that they might grow towards the maturity in Christ
• Teach disciples so that they will teach others who can teach others ( 2 Tim 2:2)
• Take students to outreach programs and mission trips to different parts of the world to give them a vision for missions.
• Use the mass media to spread the message of truth.
