The Harris Family

Dear Family and Friends,

Greetings from the Harris household.

This past October, 2006, Leigh Ann and I totally yielded our lives to be missionaries and we would like to share with you how God is working in our lives and how He has called us into service for Him.
Back in the fall of 2004, our church had a revival team from Life Action Ministries come in and conduct a two week revival. During the course of those two weeks many lives and families were changed including ours. We decided to completely turn our lives over to God and to seek His will in our lives no matter what the cost or where that might lead us.
This past March of 2006 we sold our business believing that God had a different plan for our lives. We just prayed for Him to use us and lead us in a way that would glorify Him.
Many of our thoughts, discussions and prayers seemed to lead us back to Life Action Ministries and in October, after having submitted and application, we received a call from them to come and join their staff in Buchanan, Michigan. Their ministry is devoted to reaching America with God’s message of revival, something they have been doing consistently since 1971. Wouldn’t you agree that our nation and our world are in desperate need of a change of direction?
I will be starting out working in the Human Resources department at the National Ministry Center there in Buchanan, Michigan. As part of this calling, we are required to raise our own financial support, by inviting people like you to become Ministry Partners with us. During the next few weeks and months we will be sharing God’s call to us with many churches, friends and family. Please pray for us as we begin this ministry that we will be well received, be kept safe, and that those of God’s choosing will join hands with us to provide the needed support to carry out our service to God. Perhaps you could even open some doors of opportunity for us to share our ministry.
Enclosed you will find a current picture of our family as well as a list of many of the outreach programs Life Action has at this time. You will also find a pledge card which we ask that you pray over and consider becoming a Ministry Partner with us whether through prayer support, financial support, or both.
Leigh Ann and I are available anytime if you have any questions about the ministry or if you have any specific prayer needs. We will be starting a website and a quarterly newsletter soon to further share how God is working in our lives and through the lives of others involved in Life Action. In the meantime we are praying for your walk with God and His extraordinary blessings on your life as you catch and support the vision for revival in America.
