Tony DeCicco

   Since 1976, FamilyLife has been changing lives and touching families across the country and around the world.  This ministry is very special to us, not only because we have seen hundreds of marriages saved and lives changed through FamilyLife, but also because the effect it has had on our own life.
Sharon and I met in college.  She received Christ as an early teen. I received Christ through the campus ministry of Campus Crusade.  The years that followed brought us closer to God and to each other.
During our engagement our pastor took the time to bring us to this “New” marriage event by FamilyLife. Although we had strong commitments to God and to each other, we had few skills to make a marriage work.
So we ended up at the FamilyLife Marriage Conference as an enguaged couple, and what a “Weekend to Remember” it was! It taught us the skills we needed to make a marriage work, enableing us to get through years of transitions.
Soon after Graduation Tony served in the military, both in Europe and the Mid-west.  Upon leaving the military, He began a career with Wal-Mart working up the


”ladder of success” in Wal-Mart’s management system. By the worlds standards this was very rewarding. Through both careers the Lord opened our eyes to the detration of families, and the need to turn back to God’s design for marriage.
God has richly blessed our family.  Our three wonderful children: Michael (21), Jessica  (19), and Mary (16), have all have received Christ in their lives, and are a joy.
Eventually we sensed God’s call into full time ministry with FamilyLife, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ.  We reported to FamilyLife headquarters, in Little Rock, Arkansas, in April of 1999.
Here at FamilyLife, Tony serves as a Field Ministries Representative, He supervises the promotion of the marriage conferences in several cities each year, working to organize and equip the volunteer teams in those cities.  He also speaks in special sessions at the conferences each year, and serves as the trainer for new Field Representatives.
Our desire is to build into others so they will in-turn reach their families and communities one home at a time. It is a cause well worth it!
Sharon and I have staked our lives on it!
