Ministry Description
photo at Lake Michigan with my family; summer 2005
I was raised by parents who put their faith in Jesus Christ in their teens. Much because of the truth that I saw exhibited in their lives and the Bible, I believed in Jesus as a child and developed a firm foundation of faith and knowledge that would continue throughout my life. During college at Butler University, I participated in Campus Crusade for Christ . I grew a great deal in my relationship with Jesus. Much of that had to do with my participation in CCC and the Bible instruction and mentorship I received through really caring CCC staff. They came alongside me during that crucial time in my life and helped guide me to find freedom in a life that is submitted to Christ. Over the years, there has been a growing desire within me to serve the Lord in New York City. This desire seemed to begin in elementary school after I read "The Cross and the Switchblade" and learned about God transforming the lives of inner-city gang members. I knew that God would make it clear when it was the right time for me to serve in NYC. And He did! After spending a wonderful year working with students at Michigan State University , the right opportunity presented itself for me to work with CCC in NYC. I have spent the last two years working with the CCC NYC Metro Team working mainly with students at New York University . Looking back, these have been incredibly challenging, yet rewarding years! My plan is to continue ministering here, trusting God for many more changed lives. Wednesday, May 28 2008 @ 3:08 pm

I was at the STINT mid-year conference this past week in southern Spain (in Nerja). Before I left, Adrian gave me a dvd that he had made which had him talking on it and had music and photos of us over the past year. I also received two letters from him during the week via my roomies (Jill and Shelley) from London that were with me at the conference. On Saturday night at midnight I went for a walk with Jill and Shelley to this cliff/pier that overlooked the Mediterranean. Jill handed me her ipod ...

ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - THREE FIND FAITH IN ONE WEEK
Rotterdam was chosen because Agapé is keen to re-launch the Dutch campus ministry. Dutch staff are being sent to serve and train on UK teams both last year and this coming year, and now a team of Brits has gone to serve on the Dutch campus in Rotterdam. Even on the first day of the project, the UK team saw God do mighty wonders.
The Dutch Agapé staff had been praying in faith for ten people to receive Jesus this academic year, an...
