Ministry Description

We are the Potutschnig Family,

Steve & Lori,
Zachary, Luke, Levi, & Caitlin




To give you a little background:





PERSONAL HISTORY:


•Steve was born and raised Assemblies of God, attending Glendale Assembly of God in Coalport, PA as my home church.  My parents have always been involved in Leadership positions in the church, so church life had a positive affect on me.

•At age 7, was saved and water baptized.

•At age 9, was filled with the Holy Spirit.

•April 7, 1985 – he attended Zion Bible Institute, where I was an honor student.  While attending Mission Prayers our mission vision and calling was birthed.



MISSION TRIPS:

•1988 Steve went on a 5 month mission trip to Bolivia, South America.

•1989 Steve took a 3 month mission trip to Malawi, Africa.

•1989 Steve returned to Bolivia for a 3 month mission trip.

•1990 Steve was able to take my third mission trip to Bolivia for 3 months.



PERSONAL BACKGROUND:


• I (Lori) was raised Catholic but at age 13 received Christ at a prayer meeting I attended with my aunt and grandmother, I began attending the Rock Church of Killingworth, Connecticut, where I became a member.

•1990- We were married.  We attended Zion Bible Institute together.  

•1990-1991 Steve studied his fourth year of college at Central Bible College, where I was on the Dean’s List. We were blessed with our first child, Zachary (1991).

•1992 Steve graduated from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Biblical Literature.

•1992-1996 We were voted into the Senior Pastorate in Central City, Pennsylvania. While pastoring there Steve was able to go on a short-term mission trip to Mexico City, Mexico.  He also served as the Protestant Chaplain for S.C.I. Somerset. We were blessed with 3 more children during these years: Luke (1993), Levi (1995), and Caitlin (1996).

•1996 Itineration for first mission’s term

•1997-1998 We attended Language School in Costa Rica

•1998- April 2002- We served our first-term in Sucre, Bolivia. During the months of May–August Steve was able to study and receive a Masters of Divinity equivalency from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

•Present – Steve is currently studying in the doctorate program at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. We are now serving our second term in Cochabamba, Bolivia as Country Coordinators for Latin America ChildCare and in Bible School training.
